How we ship
For Fixed Rate and USPS shipping methods we fold the fabric.
If you would like to have your fabric shipped on a roll/tube to avoid creases and wrinkles, please use FedEx shipping during checkout. This method already has the UPS/FedEx surcharge for shipping items over 48" long ($13) built in to the pricing. Tube shipping does not guarantee a wrinkle free product (as UPS/FedEx may incidentally wrinkle during shipping) We reserve the right to ship using FedEx or UPS.
How does the fabric come?
Multiple quantities are shipped as one long cut whenever possible. 1/2 bolt and full bolt orders may come with a seam in them. This is something that is beyond our control. Seams are not included in the overall measurements. Bolts with seams/breaks will be from the same dye lot. If we cannot meet the above, we will contact the customer with options.
Same Day Shipping
Most "Ships Same Day" items ship same day if the order is processed by 1 PM EST. All other orders ship next business day. Orders are first come first serve basis, if out of stock, we will notify customer as soon as possible. Orders placed with Same Day and Multiple Day shipping will ship when complete order is ready to ship.
Our standard shipping time is 3-5 business days. We try to get out fabric as soon as possible, so if you have a deadline, make sure you contact us prior to ordering.
Some "Special Order" items can take 6-8 weeks before they ship, but most generally ship in 3-5 business days. Ship times are guidelines only, not guarantees as delays with the manufacturer can occur. Please contact us to check availability if needed in a time frame.
Most Sunbrella fabrics usually ship within 2-3 business days.
Due to FedEx and UPS now charging an additional surcharge to ship packages 48"+, we only ship in poly mailers and boxes. This means the fabrics will be folded. If you prefer to have your items shipped on a roll, please choose FedEx or "ship on a roll" option during checkout.
All Flat Rate / Fixed Rate and USPS shipping options are shipped folded in a box/poly mailer
All shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. All shipping times are to be used as guidelines. If you are in need of a fabric with a deadline, please contact us prior to ordering for expedited shipping quotes.
Flat Rate Shipping
Flat rate shipping is quoted based on USPS Retail Ground (formerly parcel select/post) This can take up to 10 business days in transit. Whenever possible we do try to upgrade shipping methods free of charge, but this is not a guarantee. f you need your items in a designated time frame, please contact us prior to ordering and select one of the FedEx Express methods of shipping.
If your commercial address does not have normal mail service please note your order accordingly. Shipping charges may apply.
Ship to Third Party
We recommend that all customers ship their items directly to their home for inspection. Any items shipped to a third party will be considered in good condition. If shipped to a third party it is the customer's responsibility to file claims with the shipping company.
Applies to Continental US orders only, does not apply to "On the Roll" Shipping. Limited time offer when advertised. Free shipping uses the most economical shipping method. Limited time promotion only, and only when specified
Fixed Rate Shipping
Applies to US orders only. Flat Rate shipping uses the most economical shipping method and can take up to 10 business days to arrive.
Expedited shipping is available upon request using FedEx Express, USPS Priority Express, and UPS. Please contact us for a quote.
Normal processing time (3-5 business days on average) still applies when Expedited Shipping is purchased.
All orders ship USPS Priority International or FedEx. Average transit time is 6-10 business days. Customer is responsible for all taxes, duties, and fees with importing the items. Customs delays can occur and they are out of our control. All international orders are insured for the full value of the package plus shipping costs so that all costs can be recovered if the package is lost/damaged in transit. If you prefer another carrier, Please contact us for a quote. USPS Service quotes are only available through checkout. We reserve the right to substitute another carrier without notification so long as delivery time is the same or less than the USPS service paiD for
REFUSED DELIVERY/REFUSAL TO PAY DUTYTAXES/FEES
Any refusal of of any package for duties, taxes, and/or fees will be considered delivered and no refund issued under any circumstance.
Items attempted delivery and any refusal to pick up item from carrier will be considered delivered and no refund issued under any circumstance.
Items refused or sent back without authorization will be considered delivered and no refund issued under any circumstance. Customer is responsible for shipping items back to them at their own expense. Any items that are not delivered due to customer entry error, no mail service at address, undeliverable as addressed, or refused will result in the customer covering all shipping charges including any (retail) costs to re-ship the items. Items not re-shipped with in 30 days will be considered abandoned and the customer will forfeit any claim to fabric/funds. Refusal to re-ship items will result in a forfeiture.
All measurements must be taken by customer before sending to seamstress. We are not responsible for 3rd party measurements or measurements after cutting. Customers sending materials to a 3rd party assume all fabric is correct and correct length.
SPECIAL ORDER FABRICS
All special order fabrics ship directly from the manufacturer. They generally ship in 3-7 business days depending on the designer and availability. "Some fabrics need 6-8 weeks lead time before shipping as they are run to order". Please contact us for availability if needed sooner. As these fabric ship direct, they ship on a tube and FedEx shipping must be selected during checkout. Minimum yardage requirements may apply.
